You’re no doubt aware of the high toll that diabetes exacts on your employees (and your organization’s health care budget). As you may know, a condition called prediabetes can serve as an early-warning flag. But when prediabetes goes unnoticed, too often it leads to the onset of type 2 diabetes. On the other hand, when prediabetes is properly addressed, diabetes can be delayed or prevented altogether. This has long been a focus of the personalized care and coaching our clinical teams deliver onsite to employees. For employees who need additional support – and for remote employees – we’re now offering a digital program called, “Act2: A Johns Hopkins Diabetes Prevention Program.”
Act2 is a comprehensive, evidence-based lifestyle change program for employees and covered dependents. It offers a Johns Hopkins-enhanced, CDC-approved curriculum based on the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP).
